Dr Keisuke Watanabe

Research Fellow

I completed my PhD in Department of Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, at Yokohama National University, where I studied sensing applications using Ⅲ-Ⅴ semiconductor light emitters with photonic crystal micro/nano cavity. During the PhD research, I acquired the JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (DC2) and belonged to the Department of Molecular Pharmacology & Neurobiology at Yokohama City University as a research collaborator. I joined Vollmer’s group as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in April 2019. My research interest is hybrid photonic-plasmonic nanocavity for highly sensitive biosensors.
